Consumer Financial Education was founded in 2006 by Phillip Day, AFC, an "Accredited Financial Counselor". Our purpose is to provide financial education to those that have the desire to learn. Phillip has been in the financial services industry for over twenty-five years. He has written several personal finance books that cover many financial topics from budgeting, investing and saving, to identity theft. Phillip has counseled and lectured to thousands of individuals and families on their finances. He also has had the honor of traveling throughout the United States and Europe counseling our Military service men and women on their personal finances. Phillip wrote the book "Your Financial Focus" used in this program. He has hosted a financial radio talk show in Phoenix that promoted financial accountability. Phillip has spoken at ASU and many local non-profit organizations educating students and consumers on how to manage their personal finances. He believes all Americans can realize their full financial potential by learning and implementing sound basics of financial education.
